Phil Akre offers upcoming shows for the months of February and March in the Nutmeg state.
There are quite a few solid acts coming to the state of Connecticut soon. The list isn't extensive, but it certainly contains some quality performers. Here's a short list of some across the state.
Rock
Bob Weir & Wolf Bros: Spring Tour | Oakdale Theatre | Wallingford, CT | March 2
The show will be the third of Weir's spring tour before touring with Dead & Company this summer.
Joe Russo's Almost Dead | College Street Music Hall | New Haven, CT | March 14
Though a cover band, don't discount 'JRAD.' They're the real deal if you're looking for live Grateful Dead music. College Street Music Hall is also a great venue.
Fleetwood Mac | XL Center | Hartford, CT | March 15
The newest incarnation of Fleetwood Mac will stop at the XL Center in what will be its seventh time there.
Rap/Hip-Hop
Travis Scott: Astroworld Tour | XL Center | Hartford, CT | March 9
It will be Scott's second time appearing at the XL Center (March 2016), and his first stop in Connecticut since April 2017 (Oakdale Theatre).
Wiz Khalifa: 2009 Tour | Toad's Place | New Haven, CT | February 27
Khalifa's stop at Toad's will be just his second-ever show in Connecticut. He previously played the XFINITY Theatre in Hartford.
Action Bronson: White Bronco Tour | Toads Place | New Haven, CT | February 17
The show will be Bronson's first time there.
Vince Staples: Smile, You're On Camera Tour | College Street Music Hall | New Haven, CT | February 26
Definitely a good show to check out, Staples will be making his first-ever appearance in Connecticut.
